Our Convex mirrors come in several different lens types to fit your needs:
Acrylic is the most common lens material purchased. From rectangular acrylic convex mirrors to the standard round contour, we have the right product for your application. Our acrylic mirrors are made of the highest quality to deliver a clear reflection and strong impact strength as well as good UV stability and scratch resistance. Acrylic is durable enough for indoor or outdoor use with the proper backing materials such as a treated hardboard backing and steel backing. We also offer an economy version with no backing.
Looking for the ultimate in durability and value? We offer our exclusive Duramir unbreakable mirror. Our Duramir brand is created using a new Co- polyester material, and is a low emissions material. What makes our unbreakable mirror stand out above the rest is its unbreakable/shatterproof characteristics with excellent UV and chemical resistant properties. Unlike more expensive polycarbonate, our Duramir - unbreakable mirror is exceptional for use in outdoor applications. Polycarbonate can not not match the Duramir when it comes to temperature extremes and UV resistance. The Duramir will not yellow over time as polycarbonate is prone to. The biggest differences between the Duramir and polycarbonate is cost. Polycarbonate is two to four times more expensive than the Duramir unbreakable mirror.
Glass lens offer a crystal clear reflection but may be too delicate for most applications. They are best suited for indoor use. Using glass outdoors is possible but not typically recommended. Convex glass mirrors are prone to shatter much easier than acrylic lens or unbreakable Duramir lens. They have superior scratch resistant properties. Our selections come in a variety of sizes and two backing materials to fit your needs; hardboard backing and heavy duty steel backing.
